Meet Banjo –

The Architect Behind Cauldron

Flame My picture My picture

For over a decade, Banjo has built his career on one core belief: “teams with a strong sense of belonging create better products.”

He founded Cauldron Labs to move leaders beyond performative diversity statements and forge truly inclusive, high-performing cultures. His work isn't just theory—it's a practical, results-driven approach to embedding equity into the very DNA of an organization.

A Decade of Forging Change

Banjo’s methodology has been honed by solving complex workforce challenges inside North America's most dynamic and demanding environments.

  • Industry-Leading Expertise: He directly shaped inclusive talent strategies and culture at iconic Canadian technology companies like Shopify, Wealthsimple, Faire Wholesale, and League Healthcare.
  • Cross-Sector Impact: He led strategic change initiatives within the healthcare sector, partnering with the Canadian Mental Health Association and innovative Ontario hospitals to advance inclusive practices.
  • Strategic Consulting: He has consulted for premier recruitment agencies and technology companies across North America, designing frameworks that attract, retain, and develop top-tier, underrepresented talent. He is also a facilitator with the Halton Equity & Diversity Roundtable.

The Cauldron Labs Philosophy

Banjo’s unique perspective is grounded in his international experience and a robust academic foundation in Policy, Human Resources, and Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism (EDIA-R). This global, interdisciplinary lens allows him to design equity programs that are both authentic and sustainable.

This worldview led to the philosophy behind Cauldron itself. A cauldron holds diverse ingredients, blending their strengths to create something new and powerful. This is how Banjo views team building—as the art of skillfully combining individual talents to forge a collective culture that is stronger, more resilient, and delivers both extraordinary impact and performance.

Beyond the Work

Supported by a strong team dedicated to this mission, Banjo is a connector, collaborator, and mentor to new immigrants in his community. When he’s not advising, you’ll find him building equity initiatives, sharing insights with emerging managers, or spending time with his family.
